"Had an urgent issue (needed a retreat root canal) and my normal dentist is on vacation. My spouse suggested his endodontist. They were able to work me in and were very professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging. (Iād been in pain, and they had to give the numbing shots in that areaā they helped remind me to breathe.) I feel so lucky they were able to fit me into the scheduleā I donāt think I could have waited for my usual dentistās appointment when he returns next weekā the pain had kept me sleepless even with antibiotics. I have the expected post-procedure soreness but actually slept last night. Dr. Gibson explained everything beforehand, and the 360 x ray allowed them to see the problem (and show me) in more detail than Iāve seen before. He even called the next day to check in on me, which is always a sign of a practice that really cares. Things like this are never fun, but it was as smooth as possible and I am so relieved!"

"Wow! I was referred to this office by my dentist for an evaluation. I walked in there to schedule an appointment since I had a referral paper so they would know what itās exactly for. Well, they got me in right then so I wouldnāt have to come back for the evaluation. The ladies in the office from the time I walked in at the front desk to assistant in the back was sooooo super nice. Very welcoming! Office is so nice and clean too!!! He took the time to explain everything he was going to do, step by step, in a way that was very easy to understand. If I had a question, he was more than willing to provide an answer without hesitation. I have a dental phobia and very bad anxiety, but Dr. Gibson and Terri had excellent bedside manner and helped me stay calm throughout the procedure (took a long time), talked me through everything being done, and answered all my questions, making me feel ok and reassured by the time I left. The office is super clean and high-tech too, which is important to me that practices stay up to date with their medicine. I've been to some old offices with outdated equipment, Drs who didn't numb me enough, messed up my root canals, lacking bedside manners, and had me leaving feeling very unhappy from an unpleasant experience. "Went to visit Bloom Endodontics on a referral from my dentist about some apparent bone loss under a tooth that had previously had a root canal performed on it 7-8 years ago. Upon arrival he staff was very friendly and had me in to get some x-rays completed and I was in the seat shortly before my appointment time.Dr. Gibson came in and introduced himself and asked me a fewquestions about any symptoms I might have and was explaining what he was doing and why as he was doing the examination. Once he was done, he showed me what he was seeing on the screen and answered a couple of questions I had in a way that was very easy to understand.In the end, Dr. Gibson stated that while he could go in and go over the root canal again, he did not feel that was really needed. He was going to submit his findings to my primary dentist explaining what he found. He felt the bone loss was something our primary dentist would be able to take care of, but now they would know it was not a root canal issue.I felt very comfortable with Dr. Gibson. He took the time toexplain to me what he was doing and why in terms I could understand. I didn't feel like just another number in the queue. In this day and age, we hear too many stories of patients being taken advantage of when trusting their doctor. "I had severe tooth pain and Live Oak Dental was able to secure a next day appointment with Dr. Timothy Gibson of Bloom Endodontics in Summerville to have a root canal. Even though I was in severe pain, Dr. Gibson took the time to explain everything step by step during the process. He was kind and compassionate explaining that the infection was so bad that I needed the injection of antibiotics plus oral antibiotics for a week; and this process was in two steps, in order to clear out all of the infection.The staff was very kind and professional as well. "When you go see an Endodontist itās because you are experiencing pain. The last thing you want is to be treated like another number among hundreds of other patients. From the moment you walk into Bloom Endodontics, you are treated with respect and care. Iāve never been to a Dentist or Endodontist where my time there was an experience. Yes, an experience! And a truly remarkable experience. Dr. Gibson took the time to explain things in detail to me. He didnāt use big fancy words to talk over me. He checked to make sure I understood and more importantly what to expect each step of the way. No surprise pinches, pushes, sounds, etc. During my 2 hour root canal, Dr. Gibson kept making sure I was doing okay and paused when I needed a break. Hereās the kicker! The next day, Dr. Gibson himself, NOT his staff, he himself called to check in and see how I was doing. Answered additional questions and shared with me next steps again. I say again because when I left my root canal there was so much going on in my head that it was hard for me to remember it all. But with a clearer head the next day, it started coming back to me as Dr. Gibson went over what to expect the next few days and next steps. Again, youāre not a number at Bloom Endodontics.
