"For something as horrible as having to have an unexpected root canal, they make the process super easy and almost painless. He's very attentive and checks on you through the whole procedure and tells you every single step that he is doing. "Dr. Gibson performed my first root canal and I had no idea what to expect afterwards. A couple days laters I still had some discomfort with my tooth although it is normal to feel that way. Dr. Gibson took time out of his busy schedule for me to come in and give me the reassurance I needed mentally. A day later my tooth feels great and no more discomfort. "I have high anxiety when it comes to receiving dental work as I have not had a very good experience with dentists in the past. I unfortunately had to have a root canal and was sent to Bloom for the procedure. I had a great experience! Dr. Gibson kept me informed of everything he was going to do, what I could feel ect. Given the circumstances, I was actually able to relax which if youāve ever sat in a dental chair, is easier said than done. I highly recommend!"
"Dr. Gibson was fantastic. He talked through everything he was doing so there were no surprises. Continuously asked if I was doing ok and the assistant was fantastic too. The office did a follow up call the next day to check how I was doing and let me know if I need anything donāt hesitate to call. "Very professional and informative. Had a root canal down and Dr. Gibson told you every step he did. Dr GIbson & his assistant Terri made the experience comfortable and painless. After they were down Dr Gibson showed me after taken x rays what was down and Terri explained what my after care will be. "First time using Bloom Endontics. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Terri assisted Dr. Gibson during my root canal. She is very knowledgeable experienced. The entire process went very well, pain management was excellent throughout the procedure. Dr. Gibson went through after care instructions and was very thorough.My only complaint would be that I was told a pain medication would be called in to pharmacist and it never was. I called their on-call service twice the evening of my procedure, provided all the information I was asked for and twice was told the on call physician would call me. As of this writing that was 16 hours agoā¦still no return call."
"[I'm not one to leave reviews, even though I rely on other people's, but usually people write only negative ones, mine isn't.]I was referred by my dentist to Dr. Gibson at Bloom Endodontics to see if I needed a root canal, and unfortunately I did, and they were able to take me the same day after my exam (yesterday). I have a dental phobia and very bad anxiety, but Dr. Gibson and Terri had excellent bedside manner and helped me stay calm throughout the procedure (took a long time), talked me through everything being done, and answered all my questions, making me feel ok and reassured by the time I left. Cindy at the front was also super kind and pleasant, helping schedule me and checking in on me the day after my procedure (today). The office is super clean and high-tech too, which is important to me that practices stay up to date with their medicine. I've been to some old offices with outdated equipment, Drs who didn't numb me enough, messed up my root canals, lacking bedside manners, and had me leaving feeling very unhappy from an unpleasant experience. Not here though.I recommend Dr. Gibson's office so other people can get their work done very carefully and thoroughly too, by kind and educated people, especially if they've a dental phobia! Thank you, and I hope I only have to go back again for just my check up!"

Cindy was the first I spoke with over the phone. Who showed lots of patience and understanding to get me started. Then I met Terri, who took me to my Very Clean Relaxed Chair and surroundings. Terri stayed with me from the Beginning to the End. Kept me posted on what next. The best is yet to come. It's time for my root canals. I'm expecting the needle discomfort. "My dentist's office referred me here after a root canal they performed in June turned out to not have been done completely and after several months suddenly left me in excruciating pain.Dr. Gibson is THE BEST. He saw me the same day, within an hour, and got me started on painkillers and antibiotics. I returned the next morning for retreatment.From the moment he walked in, he put me completely at ease. Knowing I was a bit nervous, he calmly explained each step of the procedure, what I might feel, and reassured me to signal him if I felt any pain.The root canal was completely pain-free. "Dr. Gibson did an unexpected root canal on me on Tuesday. His staff is very compassionate and caring. They took time with me and I didnāt feel rushed or pressured. After xrays, Dr. Gibson explained the process of what he planned to do. I told Dr. Gibson that we would still be friends as long as he didnāt hurt me. During the procedure, he checked on me every few seconds, explaining to me what he was going to do ahead of time and what it might feel like to me. He told me to raise my hand if at any time I experienced any pain. Dr Gibson and I are still friends! He did not hurt me at all. He was very compassionate and took very good care of his patient. "I twice rescheduled my appointment with Dr. Gibson. I feared having a root canal.Dr. Gibson put my fears to rest. His gentle, calm voice explained the procedure and assured my that would feel little or no discomfort and if I did that I should immediately let him know.Well, there was no discomfort.He explained everything he was doing.His calm demeanor was so wonderful.The procedure lasted less than an hour.My gum feels a little sore, but I am fine.The staff at Bloom is the greatest.I highly recommend their services.Thank you, Dr. Gibson and staff. "I went to Bloom Endodontics, to see if I may need a root canal. Comes to find out I definitely did! Both Dr Gibson and his staff (they were really down to earth and awesome personas) did an amazing job with the process. I've always enjoyed dentists in general, but this visit was really really enticing. Once they ended up doing the check, they offered me the ability to get my root canal done right then and there which was a really big surprise to me because I didn't think they would ever have time on a Friday right when they were closing. Thankfully they were able to squeeze me in!The receptionist was also very inviting considering I believe she was a newer associate there as well (great personality). On top of that they had Chapstick and that ChapStick work so well lol. I would 100% advise anyone who needs endodontic work done, definitely check them out. I will be going back to them if I need anything else along those lines. "Went to visit Bloom Endodontics on a referral from my dentist about some apparent bone loss under a tooth that had previously had a root canal performed on it 7-8 years ago. Upon arrival he staff was very friendly and had me in to get some x-rays completed and I was in the seat shortly before my appointment time.Dr. Gibson came in and introduced himself and asked me a fewquestions about any symptoms I might have and was explaining what he was doing and why as he was doing the examination. Once he was done, he showed me what he was seeing on the screen and answered a couple of questions I had in a way that was very easy to understand.In the end, Dr. Gibson stated that while he could go in and go over the root canal again, he did not feel that was really needed. He was going to submit his findings to my primary dentist explaining what he found. He felt the bone loss was something our primary dentist would be able to take care of, but now they would know it was not a root canal issue.I felt very comfortable with Dr. Gibson. He took the time toexplain to me what he was doing and why in terms I could understand. I didn't feel like just another number in the queue. In this day and age, we hear too many stories of patients being taken advantage of when trusting their doctor. I personally have not experienced that issue yet, but with his actions, Dr. Gibson has earned my trust in him and his practice should I need to ever visit them again."

"I had severe tooth pain and Live Oak Dental was able to secure a next day appointment with Dr. Timothy Gibson of Bloom Endodontics in Summerville to have a root canal. Even though I was in severe pain, Dr. Gibson took the time to explain everything step by step during the process. "No one wants to get a root canal, but if you have to get one done in the CHS area, this is the place to go.The office was comfortable and clean, the staff was so nice, and a major plus that they have chapstick for patients after an appointment.And Dr. Gibson was amazingly through, explained everything and checked in often to make sure I was doing okay.The most painful part of the whole experience was traffic on the drive in from north Charleston. Dr. Bloom successfully performed a root canal for a toothās that was quite infected. He performed diagnostic tests required to determine the extent of treatment and appropriate care plan.
